Becca of Pretty Piney designed Beth’s Star as a Quilt of Valor to honor a friend who’s both a skilled quilter and a US Army veteran.
Written to suit both beginners and more advanced quilters who are looking for a fast finish, the pattern calls for simple piecing of squares, rectangles, and half-square triangles.
The finished size of 60″ x 80″ meets the “ideal” size requirement of the Quilts of Valor Foundation, but can easily be enlarged through the addition of borders.
