High Shank Ruler Foot for Free Motion Quilting

A ruler foot is intended to work with an acrylic ruler on a home sewing machine to mimic a long arm quilting process. The ruler foot attaches to the shank of your machine. Our ruler feet will work with our templates and many other templates you may buy. Scroll down to find your machine and determine which is the right foot, if you dont' see your machine listed, you can use the measuring instructions below or email us at support@sewingbysarah.com to help you determine the best fit. 

Although you may be able to use these on a long arm, most long arm rulers are 1/4" thick, so we have not tried them.  We recommend these for a home sewing machine. 

The ruler foot comes in three varieties, the most common are the super low shank.

Our Super Low Shank ruler foot will fit machines with a shank between 0.35" and 0.7".(1cm to 1.7cm)

Our Low Shank ruler foot will fit machines with a shank between 0.5" and 0.8" (1.2cm to 2.1cm)

Our High Shank ruler foot will fit machines with a shank between .65" and 1.2" (or 1.5cm to 2.9cm)

Here's a measuring guide example. You are measuring with the presser foot down from the base plate in your machine to the screw on your machine's shank. Please see the video below for more detailed instructions.

There is some overlap between the feet sizing so there is some flex. If it doesn't fit please let us know and we will swap out something that will work for you.

This item will be shipped within 3-4 days of ordering from California in the USA.  Items indicated as pre-ordered will be shipped as soon as they are stocked. If you have an item that is pre-ordered we will wait to ship all items until everything is in stock. Let us know if that causes an issue for you. 

You will receive an email a few days after you make your order with tracking information so you can follow its progress. Tracking only shows the last checkpoint that your order has passed through so if it doesn't update for a few days, don't worry - your order isn't just sitting there, it's just on its way to the next checkpoint in the delivery system.

• We charge a standard $5.95 on all orders under $49. $49 and above the shipping is free.

Shipping to the UK:

• We charge a standard $19.95 on all orders under $100. Orders above $100, shipping is free.

Shipping to Canada:

• We charge a standard $16.95 on all orders under $100. Orders above $100, shipping is free.

Shipping to the Australia and NZ:

• We charge a standard $19.95 on all orders under $100. Orders above $100, shipping is free.
