This set includes two useful tools a Creaser/Hera Marker and a Finger Pressing Tool.
Creaser/Hera Marker
A hera marker is a piece of hard plastic with a rounded edge. By running the rounded edge along most woven fabrics (this includes quilt-weight cotton) you can create a delicate crease. This ideal tool for marking a quilt top makes a crease instead of a mark with ink, chalk or pencil. You can use this marker with either hand without sacrificing comfort.
- Mark without ink using creases
- Run against a ruler or use freehand to draw curves or shapes for marking your quilt top
Finger Presser
A Finger Presser is a great tool to keep by your machine while piecing or while setting up your english paper piecing pieces. Use the edge of the tool to press seams to the side by running it on the top of your piece, use the edge of the tool on the wrong side to "press" the seams open, or use the tool to fold the edges around your paper while doing EPP. The opposite end works well for pushing out corners or marking applique.
- Shaped for easy use
-
Ideal for foundation piecing, needle-turn applique and miniature quilts.
- Press without heat
